Press Release
Zürich, 19th August 2010
New Managing Director to the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce
Johan Mannerberg (33) has been appointed Managing Director of the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) as of September 1st 2010. Johan is a Swedish citizen living in Switzerland since 2004 where he has been working at Siemens Building Technologies international Head Quarters in Zug. Most recently, he served as Regional Manager responsible for the operations in India. Johan’s previous experience includes leading various business development projects in Latin America, Asia Pacific and EMEA covering finance, technology and change management. Mannerberg has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University.
“Johan Mannerberg is ideally suited to lead our efforts to expand SSCC in terms of members and activities” says Mr. Hans Ulrich Maerki, Chairman of the Board.
“The SSCC serves its members and we are committed to further develop a value proposition for them. As a member, you have an ideal opportunity to network, exchange and promote your products and services in the Swedish-Swiss business community. In addition, we will continue to work towards offering educational events in the form of seminars, conferences, breakfast meetings and luncheons. My goal is also to increase the business services provided by SSCC, assisting Swedish companies to pursue business opportunities in Switzerland and vice versa. I also see the possibility for SSCC to build up a junior chamber with activities aimed for young professionals, such as mentoring programs and internships” comments Mannerberg on his new responsibility.
Johan Mannerberg will be located in Zurich. |
