Lunch and presentation of Lundin Petroleum by the Chairman Ian Lundin and the President and CEO Ashley Heppenstall

We were around 25 visitors at this first SSCC business visit at Lundin Petroleum in Geneva on June 14, 2010.

The Chairman of Lundin Petroleum (and former chairman of SSCC) Mr Ian Lundin, together with the Mr Ashley Heppenstall (President and CEO) welcomed us and showed us the Lundin Petroleum Office in Vesenaz, just outside Geneva. The tour included an introduction to the art of finding oil by Chris Wynn, Group Geosience Manager.

After the tour Mr Heppenstall gave a presentation on Lundin Petroleum and the challenges the industry is facing today while we enjoyed an Asian buffet, most appropriate since the company has its main operating sites in Asia, Norway and Russia.

The SSCC would like to thank Mr Lundin, Mr Heppenstall, Mr Wynn and Ms Hamilton at Lundin Petroleum for an interesting, pleasant and well organized lunch meeting.
